It’s a day you’re looking forward to, but Mums would rather be without tears and cuts in their sensitive skin. From 34 weeks you can prepare, with regular massage using Perineum Massage Oil to enhance flexibility in the skin of the birth area. With sweet almond and vitamin E rich wheatgerm oil, the oil is especially formulated for massages which help the perineum to become more flexible and relaxed, ready for childbirth.

Key Ingredients

During the first stage of processing of Sweet Almond Oil, special machines remove the green and still soft shells from the fruit. The sweet almonds are then opened up to expose the valuable kernel. The bulk of the harvest at the Manan cooperative is sold as high-quality organic almonds for people to eat, but about a quarter of the crop undergoes gentle cold pressing and filtration at the oil press. The sought-after oil is then refined and organically certified.

Wheat Germ Oil is a light-yellow vegetable oil that is rich in Vitamin E. It comprises of a high content of linoleic and alpha linolenic acid and is especially suitable for dry and mature skin.

The Jojoba plant is an evergreen shrub that bears olive-shaped fruits and grows wild in arid environments such as, Israel, Arizona Mexico and South America. Jojoba Seed Oil is derived from the seeds (beans) within the fruits. This oil is an oily liquid wax that is very similar to the protective layer of the human skin. At the same time, it supports the barrier function of the skin. Thereby it protects the skin against water loss without leaving it greasy. It is very skin friendly, easily absorbed and is therefore a suitable care product for all skin types, especially for dry skin. It is also very suitable as a base oil in products because it’s very stable and doesn’t oxidise (go rancid) easily.
